Pickleball Smash 2026
Join us for the Inaugural San Angelo Chamber of Commerce Pickleball Tournament, a brand‑new fundraising event bringing our business community together for a fun and competitive day on the courts. Taking place Monday, July 20th, at Smashers Pickleball Bar & Grill, San Angelo’s premier indoor pickleball facility, this tournament supports the Chamber’s mission to strengthen local business and community growth. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses looking to get involved and gain visibility, and team registration will open on May 21. Whether you’re playing, sponsoring, or cheering from the sidelines, this event promises great competition, community connection, and a meaningful impact.

Team Information
Teams will consist of 2 players
Divisions offered:
- Men’s Fun
- Men’s Competitive
- Women’s Fun
- Women’s Competitive
Depending on registration numbers, divisions may be further split into
age-based brackets to ensure balanced and enjoyable matchups.
Please include a valid email address for each player during registration.
We’ll use this to send each participant their event-day food voucher.
Prizes
We will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division!
Player Perks
Every participant will receive a food voucher, a player bag and a complimentary Pickleball paddle, courtesy of our Paddle Sponsor Gandy Ink, so you don't even need to bring your own equipment!

Division Information
Fun Division (Beginner Friendly)
If you’ve never played before or are just getting started, this is the division for you! The goal here is to have fun, learn the game, and enjoy some friendly competition.
Perfect for players who are:
- Brand new to Pickleball
- Have played only a few times
- Still learning the basic rules and gameplay
Competitive Division (Intermediate & Experienced Players)
If you regularly play and are confident in your skills, this division will give you the level of competition you're looking for.Designed for players who:
- Have more experience playing Pickleball
- Are comfortable with game strategy and consistent play
- Typically fall at a 3.0 skill level or higher (for those familiar with DUPR ratings)

To keep the tournament fun, fair, and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask all participants to honestly select the division that best matches their skill level.
