Fishing Opportunities
- Lake Nasworthy is located within the city limits off Knickerbocker
Road toward the municipal airport. The lake is city-owned.
- O.C. Fisher Reservoir is located within the city limits off
Mercedes Street. It is the home of San Angelo State Park. Primarily
the North Concho River feeds the reservoir.
- Twin Buttes Reservoir is located five miles west of San Angelo
off U.S. Highway 67. The Federal Bureau of Reclamation owns
the reservoir.
- Lake E.V. Spence is located about 35 miles north of San Angelo
off State Highway 208 (turn west on State Highway 158 for about
five miles). Owned by the Colorado River Municipal Water District.
E.V. Spence is the first of several reservoirs on the course
of the Colorado River.
- Lake O.H. Ivie is located about 40 miles east of San Angelo
(follow Farm-to-Market Road 765 to Millersview, turn north on
Farm-to-Market Road 2134 to the Concho Recreation Area). The
Colorado River Municipal Water District owns the lake. For information
